Dusk sets upon our world
the sun beams light the clouds
reflections and red skies
illuminate
in flame
the sky above

A dragon breathes fire
upon the misty clouds around it
red colour lights the sky
trails of cloud
alight above the world
a bright glow reflects
the mountain
the lake
the world

only moments in time
the glow
dims
the dragon flies
away
as darkness grows
the beauty ends
and begins anew

tomorrow will come
the red sky will rise
on the other side
a new day
a new beauty
begins again
