Monday, eight weeks of Mondays since this all began. I appreciate everyone that has followed my story. The comments and encouragement keeps me going, I will continue to share my story as it goes. I have found a new direction for my life and will do whatever it takes. I will follow my dream to learn and grow as a writer. This Monday was a day for getting organized.

I own an amazing boat built in Kelowna by Campion Marine. The boat is a tri-hull fibreglass pontoon-style boat. It’s called a Biltmore. My very old and good friend Rob is my partner and captain of the boat. Four years ago we launched Luxury Lake Tours Inc. and another dream began. Rob has been working on the boat getting it ready. We are hoping to be able to take people on the lake to have fun this summer. Today I got on the internet and the phone to find out what we could do and how.

If we behave we can open more businesses and ease restrictions. I am told that we need to establish safe procedures to maintain social distancing. Our boat is big enough to manage that. My daughter and her friend spent time in the boat in April practicing social distance. Social distance, a new phrase, but now they want to call it physical distance. I am pretty sure the people in charge are flying by the seat of their pants. Who can blame them? I hope we can cruise the lake next week.

We end our day as we have ended most days; walking. Krista and I walked up the hill and went for a good long walk this evening. The magnificent view we are so lucky to have envelopes our souls as we walk the roadways near our home. I breathe in every moment, realizing how clear everything can become. I will pursue my dreams, I will enjoy the moments. It is all I can do.
