November 15, 2022 Happy Anniversary

Eight years… Time does fly when you’re having fun. Eight years ago, Krista and I stood in front of our friends and family and said our vows of love and devotion to each other. 

We looked deep into each others eyes and said, “I will walk beside you.” 

Eight years… we spent five more before that figuring out if we would indeed marry each other. At first, we were friends with ‘benefits’. Eventually, it became so much more. 

Relationships are never easy, and our marriage is far from perfect. But the best part of it has been the solid connection we have with each other. A deep connection that we both know inside, we have each other’s back, and no matter what we are on the same side.

Someone told me once that the reason to get married was that it was so much harder to walk away. There is truth in that, but there is also so much more. There is a strength in the vows we said to each other, and the commitment we made.

Till death do us part…

I look forward to many more years of connections with my wife. To walking beside her into our old age. I have her back and she has mine.
